below are a selection of pieces that fall under the theory writing category for the writing minor
We were tasked with writing a paper on the topic of literacy, specifically examining either a way in which our lives or society in general is impacted by shortcomings in literacy. I chose to focus on digital literacy, and how it effected the results of the 2016 election.
I wrote this for Writ 1133 during the spring quarter of my freshman year, and it was easily one of the most fun pieces that I've written during my time at DU. The piece dealt with me coming to terms with "losing" my accent after first getting to the United States. I placed it in the "theory" category as I get quite in depth about the theory of rhetoric and being understood.
